United Regions
Successor to the United Nations, the United Regions developed partly out of the UN voting blocs, but also as part of the trend towards uniting in regional groupings pioneered by the EU. Regions include:
- Greater Northern Union (includes most of Europe, Turkey, and several North African nations)
- North American Union (CanUSMex)
- Latin American Union
- African Union
- Association of Asian and Pacific Nations
- Non-Aligned States of the World (a non-regional grouping of states which, for various reasons, want to remain independent; it has several sub-groupings such as the Islamic Bloc, the Indy-Europeans and the usually ironically named Free African States).
